Being a member of the Charlotte Chapter of AIGA, A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to create a skateboard Design with whatever I had in mind. The final art piece was afterwards going to be part of a permanent collection of Industry Charlotte, A great new Coworking space and community of Start-ups. Many other very talented people participated and the overall exhibition was great!
My design was "A Fragment of the Second Panel of The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch.

The original painting is created within three separated panels. The first one from left to right expresses a time where Humans are new to Planet Earth and they are still sharing a sense of discovery and exploration.
The second panel shows the saturated growth of civilization into an obscene circus of chaos and terrifying approaches to life. And, the third panel is pretty much a scene of total Earth destruction in the middle of a Human Apocalypse.
I chose to place the content of the second panel because that is the scenario that always comes to my mind when I look at social media now a days. I honestly think we are there and Hieronymus nailed it 500 years ago!
I invited my friends because beer and wine was going to be provided, and as you can see in the photo, they are big fans of Aesthetics and the Art of an Open Bar.
We ran out wine and out we went to continue our slow transition from Panel 2 to Panel 3.
It's Time
Friday was my last day at good ol' Mythic. It was such a great experience, but I believe it's time. Starting today, I am Officially full time at msd.
2017 is gonna be pretty interesting 🙂
